ADSS-BS is intended for the accelerated search of the identification data in databases of biometric systems, such as, for example, Motorola Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) or EURODAC system. By means of ADSS-BS the countries that are included in the European Community, have an opportunity to carry out search in the central database quickly. In the given database is the fingerprints for the identification of the persons that requesting for a political asylum and the persons that are also crossing borders in the illegal image. EURODAC system consists of the central database, ADSS-BS and a computer network by means of the states members of the European Community are connecting to this database.
