Highly anticipated grips for the most current models of Harley Davidson touring motorcycles are now available at local motorcycle shop.
Kuryakyn has just released a Premium ISO-Grip that will work on 2008 models of Harley Davidson touring motorcycles with electronic throttle control. These grips are now available at B&M Custom Cycles in Myrtle Beach, SC. This was a release that many owners of 2008 Harley Davidson Dressers, Road Kings, Road Glides and Street Glides were eagerly anticipating. This popular design of handlebar grips was previously only available for motorcycles that used dual cable throttle controls, but all 2008 Harley Davidson touring motorcycles are equipped with Drive-by-wire technology.
The recently released Premium ISO-Grip is styled to match the popular ISO-Pegs, also manufactured by Kuryakyn. They dampen handlebar vibration while providing a cushioned feel for long-haul comfort. This grip combines the state of the art vibration absorbing properties of the standard ISO-Grip with the fatigue reducing comfort of the company’s ISO-Throttle Boss. Due to their unique removable end caps, this is one of the only custom grips available that may be used with stock air reservoir type handlebars.
It is also the only custom grip Kuryakyn makes for 2008 Harley Davidson Dressers, Road Kings, Road Glides and Street Glides because of their Drive-by-wire, or x-by-wire, technology. This is a recent advent in the automotive industry which replaces the traditional mechanical and hydraulic control systems with electronic control systems using electromechanical actuators and human-machine interfaces.
